These terms explain how PaddockWire operates as an independent motorsport media and community platform, and set the rules for using our website, content, profiles, and community features.

PaddockWire is a trading name of YELLOW MANGO CONSULTANCY SERVICES LTD (09014055). These Terms of Service apply to the operation of the platform by YELLOW MANGO CONSULTANCY SERVICES LTD (09014055).

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not access or use PaddockWire.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the PaddockWire website, apps, content, communities, profiles, and related services. By using PaddockWire, you agree to these terms and to any policies referenced within them.

2. Platform Positioning

PaddockWire is an independent motorsport media, discovery, and community platform. We provide editorial coverage, event information, public profiles, community features, and related digital tools for motorsport audiences.

3. Non-Affiliation

PaddockWire is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any motorsport championship, governing body, team, driver, circuit, series, promoter, venue, or manufacturer unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing.

  • This includes, without limitation, Formula 1, Formula One, FIA, Formula E, NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, WEC, WRC, MotoGP, teams, circuits, and event organisers.
  • References to third-party championships, teams, drivers, venues, and events are made for editorial, informational, descriptive, nominative, and community discussion purposes only.
  • No content on PaddockWire should be interpreted as creating any partnership, joint venture, endorsement, agency, or official relationship.

4. Trademarks and Brand Usage

All third-party names, trademarks, logos, service marks, team names, championship names, and brand assets remain the property of their respective owners.

  • PaddockWire claims no ownership in third-party marks unless expressly stated.
  • Any use of third-party names or marks on the platform is for identification, commentary, reporting, indexing, or community discussion.
  • You may not use PaddockWire branding, logos, design assets, or product names without prior written permission.
  • You may not suggest that PaddockWire is officially connected to or endorsed by any third party unless such relationship has been explicitly published by us.

5. Accounts, Usernames, and Handles

You are responsible for your account, login credentials, and all activity carried out through your account.

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
  • You may not impersonate another person, team, championship, organisation, or brand.
  • Usernames and handles are licensed for use on the platform; they are not owned property rights.
  • We may refuse, reclaim, suspend, or reassign usernames or handles where reasonably necessary, including for inactivity, legal risk, trademark complaints, impersonation, abuse, confusion, or brand protection.
  • We may require handle changes where a name infringes rights, misleads users, or conflicts with platform integrity.

6. User-Generated Content

Users may post content such as profile information, comments, posts, images, tags, links, and community discussions. You remain solely responsible for the content you submit.

  • You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and authority to post the content you submit.
  • By posting content, you grant PaddockWire a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with operating and marketing the platform.
  • We do not pre-approve every user submission and are not responsible for user opinions, statements, conduct, or uploaded material.
  • We may remove, restrict, review, or moderate content at our discretion, with or without notice.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold PaddockWire harmless from claims arising out of your content, your conduct, or your breach of these terms.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use PaddockWire to engage in unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive behaviour.

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, abuse, spam, scams, illegal content, or malicious behaviour.
  • No impersonation of drivers, teams, brands, media outlets, staff, or other users.
  • No infringement of copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other third-party rights.
  • No attempts to disrupt the platform, access restricted systems, bypass controls, or interfere with service availability.

8. Editorial Content, Commentary, and Fair Use

PaddockWire publishes original reporting, aggregation, commentary, analysis, opinion, references, and community-led discussion about motorsport.

  • Editorial content may include developing stories, speculation, commentary, and opinion, and may be updated as facts change.
  • We aim for accuracy, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free at all times.
  • Limited quotations, references, thumbnails, headlines, and factual references may appear for commentary, reporting, indexing, review, or similar lawful purposes.
  • Nothing on the platform grants permission to reuse PaddockWire content outside any rights available under law, including fair dealing or fair use where applicable.

9. Content Ownership and Use Restrictions

Unless otherwise stated, PaddockWire and its licensors own the platform, its design, software, databases, editorial content, layout, and branding.

  • You may browse and use the platform for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.
  • You may not copy, republish, scrape, frame, mirror, systematically extract, train models on, resell, or commercially exploit platform content without permission.
  • You may not use automated means to access the platform in a way that burdens infrastructure, bypasses controls, or harvests data at scale.

10. Scraping, Automation, and Platform Misuse

Automated collection and misuse of platform data is prohibited except where we have expressly authorised it in writing.

  • You may not scrape articles, profiles, event data, community data, or metadata for republication, database building, AI training, or competing services without permission.
  • You may not probe, scan, reverse engineer, or test the vulnerability of the platform except where expressly allowed by law and coordinated with us responsibly.
  • We may block traffic, suspend accounts, restrict access, or pursue legal remedies where misuse is detected.

11. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of PaddockWire at any time. Features, content, routes, and community tools may change without notice.

PaddockWire may link to third-party websites, media, apps, feeds, products, or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or business practices.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaddockWire is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.

  • We disclaim warranties of availability, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the extent permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, reputation, or business opportunity.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from user content, third-party conduct, event changes, scheduling inaccuracies, service interruptions, or unauthorised access.
  • If we are found liable despite these terms, our total liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
