Ducati has reaffirmed its commitment to MotoGP by renewing its contracts with two key satellite teams, Gresini Racing and Valentino Rossi's Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. Gresini Racing was the first to announce a new deal for the 2027 season, followed closely by VR46's confirmation of a three-year extension. This agreement will keep VR46 Racing aligned with Ducati through the end of the 2029 season as the manufacturer’s Factory Supported Team.
These renewals secure Ducati's presence with six bikes on the 2027 MotoGP grid, highlighting the brand's strategic focus on expanding its competitive footprint. The extended partnership with VR46 Racing continues a successful collaboration, while Gresini Racing remains a vital satellite outfit within Ducati's MotoGP framework. Both teams will benefit from factory support, reinforcing Ducati’s commitment to performance and development.
This multi-year commitment reflects Ducati’s confidence in its satellite teams and its ambition to maintain a dominant position in the premier class. By supporting both VR46 and Gresini, Ducati ensures a strong and diverse lineup capable of challenging for podiums and championships in the coming seasons.
